FROST MEADOW REVIEW
Puffling Press LLC publishes the Frost Meadow Review, a biannual poetry publication focusing on the voices of New England. The Frost Meadow Review invites one poet per season to share a collection of 10-20 poems and their perspective in an interview. Selected works are also published from submissions each volume. One poem from the general submissions is selected each season to receive the Editor’s Choice Award.

We publish timely books about Maine that build connections and foster resilience for our communities be they seasonal or residential, commercial or recreational, riding high or just getting by. Puffling Press cares about Maine voices and experiences.

Puffling Press LLC considers publications about broad topics that we feel are timely and have appeal for education and/or inspiring active engagement with civil rights, social justice and environmental justice.
Submissions Information
We are not accepting unsolicited manuscripts at this time. Calls for submissions will be posted here on our website when they are active.
Poetry submissions for the Frost Meadow Reveiw should be submitted following the guidelines available on the Frost Meadow Review website.
ABOUT US
Puffling Press LLC was founded by Jackie Matthews LCPC-C in 2019. Jackie is a passionate person with the firm belief that we are more effective when we pull together to solve problems and improve our world. She is an interdisciplinary scholar and humanist. Jackie graduated in 2022 with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She also holds a MA in Communication, a BA in English and BS in Biology from the University of Maine. Jackie has numerous publications including poetry, scientific research and nonfiction science writing. She is a farmer and the the founder/editor of the Frost Meadow Review and is excited to be sharing her love for books with the world by creating Puffling Press LLC.
